Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Nokia Launch New Windows Devices to Compete with Apple’s iPhone 5- MSFT, AAPL, NOK, ADBE, , BMC, CA, CPWR, INTU, JIVE

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)‘s shares showed an ascending order movement, and increased 1.92% as it plans to announce its new Surface for Windows RT tablet computer on Oct. 26 at a price of $199.

According to Engadget report, the price most likely would be lesser than Microsoft’s cost for the tablet and that would facilitate the corporations to introduce its new Windows 8 operating system.

The details of the release were mentioned at a current Microsoft (MSFT) conference, according to the report.

It is not surprising that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will release its iPhone 5 soon. The debut is extensively anticipated on September 12, 2012. The surprising thing is that Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) and Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) are intending to compete with the iPhone to the punch.

Microsoft and Nokia have sent invitations for a press event in New York on September 5, 2012.  As of this writing, no details were obtainable except that Nokia and Microsoft will declare Windows 8 phones at the event to go head to head with  Apple’s iPhone 5 by seven days.

Financial Review; Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) showed uphill movement 1.92% or -$0.58 to closed at $30.78 following its intraday high level of $30.97 with month stock price volatility of 1.57%.

MSFT previous week stock price volatility remained 1.32%. The stock price of MSFT is moving down from its 20 days moving average with 3.80% and isolated positively from 50 days moving average with 3.72%.

Meanwhile, Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) surged 2.25% intends to post Q3 results on Sep 19, 2012, BMC Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:BMC) rose 2.42%, CA, Inc. (NASDAQ:CA) moved up 1.30% , Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ:CPWR) escalated 1.63% , Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ:INTU) moved up 1.47% and Jive Software Inc (NASDAQ:JIVE) rose 2.79%.
