After some bad experience with my previous broker (eToro) I decided to give GCI a try.
It’s now been 7 months and I’ve been more than satisfied by their MT4 platform, the execution speed and customer support which I had to rely on for some issues with their mobile trading solution. In the end, “Maya” got everything up and running for me on my phone as well as on my computer. So, apart from those setup issues, I’ve had nothing but a good experience with GCI.
I’m connected to their facebook so I get my daily news and market events. As usual I win often, lose sometimes and my withdrawal requests have always been answered promptly. I’ve also more recently been playing around with EAs and have to admit it works quite well (again, received a lot of help to get it set up correctly)!
I have to agree with Skurrie and Geiger, most people blame the Broker before blaming themselves. It’s obvious that if GCI Financial was SCAM they’d be out of business. You don’t have a big life span in the Forex industry if you’re a crook.
I for one have been trading with them for a couple of years and have nothing to complain about. My assigned “Relationship” person is knowledgeable, kind and always prompt to answer any question I throw at him. I’ve recommended them to friends and everyone still talks to me so I guess they are satisfied as well!
As for trader(?) Awet, seems like just another kid from the FPA as he/she seems to be taking all of his/her information from there. Please show us proof of your “a lot of review sites are stating” or “taking action to blacklist” will you? It’s striking how many people still quote things said by the “Forex Peace Army” when any real trader knows they are the industry’s worst SCAM (not that it really important as only noobs/bad traders and cry babies actually visit that site nowadays…). If review admin sites could just remove any comment referring to them I’m sure their pageviews/visits would go down the toilet and they’d simply die out.
GCI Financial has now been proven a scam by various review sites from the various scam complaints filed. A lot of review sites already are stating this fact and that they are already taking actions to blacklist GCI Financial. Review sites are recommending traders and to everyone to avoid this broker in any matter and close any transactions left with this firm. Recently, another information relating GCI Financial with ICM Trading, so it is best to avoid these two brokers until further investigation from proper authorities is officially processed. Please keep watch of questionable reviews as of the moment.
Sorry but I beg to disagree with the ruthless negative reviews in here. GCI Financial does not take your money, the problem is that people lose money on their own mistake, their own screw up and their faulty trading style, and they right away blame the broker. Fix your trading styles and strategies before all you try to “FIX” something that aint broken!
People who right negative reviews are plain ****load, don’t know nothing bout trading, oure ignorance!
If you trade good, you win good. If you trade badly, you loss badly. Its as easy as that, no need the math. Stop the hatin’ go figure before you just make a fool of your mindless self. With due respect, Think before you rant, OKaY?!
I’d say this firm is one of the most professional, professional in stealing your money in that sense. Get your money, run before they take them all away. Sorry to say, no more decent brokers, forex business is all LIES!
Demo account seems too good to be true from live account, you can never really find a broker that wont scam you, huh??! The only thing guaranteed that you will have is your money gone! They are just lazy fucking bastards who will screw you all the way, and guess what, They just don’t care! Anyone victimized by this awful company let’s all file complaints and spread to all review sites so this company will go down!
This is the broker I’ve been looking for, one of the best professional team there is. 2 years at most trading and no complaints from me, a lot of negative reviews here, I figure they are paid reviews from competitors who would love to see GCI Financial go down, NOT A CHANCE, this is solid broker!
I’ve been trading with GCI since 2004 and have never had any major issues with them. Platform problems from time to time (it seems at some point they had a hard time coping with the number of people trading at the same time) but recently it hasn’t happened.
Staff is excellent, I’m thinking of Maya and Roger especially.
All in all, I recommend GCI. If you’re new to trading have a look at the live training sessions. I’ve been through them and they’re OK but DEFINITIVELY aimed at new traders so if you’re experienced you might want to skip that
NEVER EVER OPEN AN ACCOUNT FOR THEY ARE A BUNCH OF BIG FAT SCAM, THEIVES AND LIARS!!! This is the biggest lie you can every think of, once you deposit money its already a THANK YOU, GOODBYE from them and you will never hear a think from them ever again. Account will be in “temporary” suspension, so impossible to withdraw yyour deposited account, watch out, lost 10 gran from this crooks!!!
It takes forever to enter trades, it is impossible for you to enter and exit positions without them manipulating orders. Fake prices and price hikes are your best friend, plus their freaking server makes everything turn like hell..!! AVOID AVOID AVOID IF YOU MUST, and the so called profit you earned can never be withdrawn, there never really is such words as profit, only THEY PROFIT FROM THE MONEY YOU DEPSIT!
This is an extremely obvious scam, the long delay will kill your trades.
Very high slippage and constant freezing makes you loss even on “winning” positions.
Nothing to expect here, well maybe loss of money, but we aren’t trading to loss but to profit.
And profit seems a whole new dimension for this crooks!
The only thing executed here are losing positions, those with extremely high costs, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
